Terms and conditions: Deposit. A 30% deposit is required and may be paid on-line or in advance by check or money order. The deposit will lock in your spot. The balance is payable by check or money order 5 business days in advance of dropping off your bike or luggage or may be paid IN CASH when you drop off your bike or luggage. If you cancel your reservation, no deposit will be issued. Once a spot is reserved, we can’t sell it to anyone else.
Drop-off, delivery and pick-up. The motorcycle owner shall, in their absence, designate a person to act as their agent at the point of pick-up and/or drop-off, if for any reason they are unavailable. Owner agrees to drop-off and pick-up motorcycle(s) at the times specified below (Sturgis only shown, Daytona times TBD.) No exceptions. If owner or designated agent misses or doesn’t show up within specified times, additional charges may apply.
Drop-off times in Austin (Lakeway location) for transport to Sturgis:
Ride-along schedule. For the trip from Austin to Sturgis, the Texas Custom Choppers chase vehicle and trailer will depart at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 1st and travel 400-500 miles a day. All luggage to be transported by Texas Custom Choppers must be dropped off at the Lakeway location a minimum of 1 hour in advance of the departure time.
For the return trip from Sturgis to Austin, the Texas Custom Choppers chase vehicle will depart at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 10th and travel 400-500 miles a day. All luggage to be transported must be dropped off at the Texas Custom Choppers Sturgis headquarters a minimum of 1 hour in advance of the departure time.
No delivery time is guaranteed. All delivery dates and times are only estimates of normal deliveries (delays may occur). Transporter does not agree to transport shipment in time for any particular market or event and will not be responsible for loss or damages occasioned by unavoidable delays. There are absolutely no guarantees made, expressed or implied, regarding delivery times or dates.
Insurance. Your bike is covered against theft, fire and physical damage caused by vehicle collision or negligence by the transporter, with the exceptions noted in nos. 1 to 11 below, up to a maximum of $20,000. You will have a $500 insurance deductible due at the time of claim to be paid to Texas Custom Choppers. Any and all damage must be noted on the front of the drop-off / pick-up Inspection Report at the time of delivery (when bike is picked up). No claim will be honored if damage is not noted on the Inspection Report at the time of delivery. Texas Custom Choppers can not and will not be held responsible in any way for damages after customer has left the point of delivery. All claims must be made in writing within 15 days of delivery with a statement of specific damages claimed. All claims, subrogation, litigation, or legal action must have right of venue in the State of Texas, in Travis County. All claims will be settled at actual cost. If any provision or part of this agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, all other parts of this agreement remain in effect. All claims must be made to the transporter at the following address: Texas Custom Choppers, 2203 RR 620 N, Austin, TX 78734. Luggage carried by Texas Custom Choppers for those riding their motorcycles shall not be insured.
Exceptions. Texas Custom Choppers will not be held liable for the following 1 to 11:
The customer agrees that this is the only contract between the parties governing this transport and no other agreement or contract is in effect.
