Got Flake Kustoms
Enrique Arellano is Texas Custom Choppers’ Metal Flake and Kandy expert. Growing up in his father’s shop in Amarillo, he started doing paint and bodywork from the age of 14. Eventually moving to Austin in 2007, Enrique officially began his kustom painting career in the motorcycle and hotrod industry. His work has earned him great exposure as he took 2nd place in the 2007 “Big Texas Chop-Off”, and 1st place in the 2009 “ROT Rally Best of Show”. In 2009 he worked in Lakeway at one of the paint sources for Austin Speed Shop. In his time there, he did bodywork on hotrods and classic cars for big names such as Matt Cameron (the drummer of Pearl Jam), among others. In April 2010, Texas Custom Choppers welcomed Enrique to our family as a part of our kustom paint team!
