Cruisin for the Kids: Second Annual Angels on Wheels Motorcycle Run to Benefit Dell Children’s Medical Center

Austin, Texas – (September 2, 2009) – Circle of Friends is proud to announce its Second Annual Angels on Wheels Motorcycle Run on Saturday, November 14, benefiting Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas.

Motorcycle enthusiasts are invited to support Central Texas children in this motorcycle run that begins at Mueller Park (around the corner from Dell Children’s) and continues throughout the Austin area. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the first bike will leave at 9 a.m. The ride will conclude where the street party begins! From 1 p.m. – 11 p.m., Angels on Wheels participants will receive free admission into a street party outside the Hill Country Galleria in Bee Cave. Guests will enjoy a fantastic lineup of musical entertainment. Dale Watson will perform at 2 p.m, followed by Down 1450 and Andrea Marie and the Magnolia Band. Event sponsor Zingers Bar & Grill will serve a delicious fajita buffet, keg beer and soft drinks at 3:30 p.m.

Registration for the motorcycle run is $25 per individual online before the event ($30 on the day of the event) and includes a goody bag and free entrance into the street party. The public is invited to the street party, and the price of admission is $20 per person and includes food, drink tickets and entertainment.

Circle of Friends is a network of regional support groups across Central Texas that raise awareness and funds for the Children’s Medical Center Foundation of Central Texas to benefit Dell Children’s Medical Center.
